This is a great example of the right symbiotic relationship – and scale – between the “market” and government. I mention scale because right now, government exists mainly to facilitate the monopolistic practices of a few giant corporations. Here, the benefit is direct, personal, and truly beneficial to the entire community. We need more of this.
Now from an urban design standpoint, the sidewalk is too narrow. But there is a nice hint of skyline in the background.
