Well, almost open. What otherwise would have been a great view onto the hills surrounding Dingle was spoiled by the decision to put a cell tower right in the middle of it. Getting past that, this view does remind you that you are in a very small town in the countryside. Open views are great tools for connecting people to surrounding landscape. But they cannot be used incautiously: simply leaving a view open is not the same as consciously framing one for a purpose.
Notice the sidewalks are too narrow. Notice too the supermarket is two stories – it could have been rebuilt on the outskirts of town as a single story sprawl mart but it holds on here in the town.
